A Psalm of Praise

A Psalm of Praise

O Lord,

You lead as a shepherd leads his sheep.

You are almighty!

We are blessed that you gave us this world,

So that we can show everyone who You are

And how you heal the sick

And made people see,

How you made the birds cheep

And the water flow,

The wind howl and the leaves shake.

You made the blossoms bloom.

You give us life.

Ode to My Bat

Ode to My Bat

(a playful love poem)

O baseball bat,

How I love you!

When I swing you,

I feel a sonic boom under my feet.

When a ball hits you,

I feel sorry for you,

But then I see the ball go over the fence!

I think you’re fine.

When the day is over,

And your metal is dented,

And the ball is lost,

I say bye and put you in a comfy spot,

Your case,

Until the next game.

Hunting

Hunting

If you haven’t gone hunting,

You have not seen the forest,

The sun peeking through the trees,

The wind blowing through the branches.

If you haven’t gone hunting,

You have not seen real views,

The mountain with the snow on the top of it,

The grassy field in front of you.

If you haven’t gone hunting,

You haven’t seen animals.

You really haven’t seen animals.

The squirrels chasing each other,

The birds flying over your head

Singing their songs and chattering all the day.

If you haven’t gone hunting,

You haven’t felt excitement.

Your heart beats like crazy

Seeing the animal you have been waiting for all day.
